About the Company

This is an international retail group of Ukrainian origin, actively scaling in Europe. Yes, this is the network that manages over 1,800 stores in Ukraine and is already confidently entering the European markets. Currently, it is actively developing in Romania - and this is just the beginning.

The ambition is simple and specific: one new market per year, one new store per day.

The company is entering a crucial phase of transformation: a reproducible model of Euro-expansion is being built, the portfolio of formats is being standardized, and new directions are being launched. Behind this stands complex and systematic legal work, and this is where this role appears.

Why This Role

The legal department is growing with the business. Operations in Cyprus, affiliated companies in Ukraine, Romania, and Poland - the volume of tasks is increasing, so the team is looking for reinforcements.

This is a role for a lawyer who not only completes tasks but also thinks ahead, sees risks, and knows how to work with them.

You will be responsible for the full legal support of international operations (Cyprus, Romania, Poland). Specifically:

• Work with corporate changes, contracts, and compliance;
• Work with EU legislation and meet GDPR requirements;
• Structure legal processes and agreements;
• Prepare legal opinions (Legal Opinion);
• Interact with internal stakeholders and external partners.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for not just a lawyer who works "by tasks." We need a person who sees the legal picture holistically, can work in changing conditions, and is ready to take responsibility for the result.

For this:

1. 5+ years of experience in an international business environment.
2. Proven experience in supporting operations in Cyprus: corporate changes, registrations, KYC/AML, banking procedures. Without this, unfortunately, not our candidate.
3. Master's degree in law - mandatory.
4. Knowledge of civil, commercial, corporate, tax, labor, and international law.
5. Experience with EU law and GDPR requirements.
6. Confident work with contracts and corporate documentation independently.
7. Strong communication and consulting skills.
8. English and Ukrainian - fluently, orally and in writing.
9. Proactivity in identifying risks and proposing solutions.

Your Future Tasks

1. Ensure full legal support for the business in an international context.
2. Work with contracts and corporate documentation: prepare, review, negotiate terms.
3. Support operations in Cyprus and interact with local partners.
4. Connect to tasks in other jurisdictions (Ukraine, Romania, Poland).
5. Interact with external consultants, auditors, banks, and government agencies.
6. Work with EU legislation and ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.
7. Structure processes, prepare agreements, and Legal Opinion.
