Legal Counsel

About the Position

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Legal Counsel will report directly to the General Counsel and serve as an in-house attorney to support the company’s legal needs.

About the Role

The Legal Counsel will work on a variety of commercial agreements, including customers, vendors, service providers, and partnership agreements, as well as handle privacy and AI-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review various commercial agreements (procurement, licensing, sales, etc.).
• Create and maintain standard templates, business processes, and internal policies.
• Address privacy and data protection matters pertaining to Connecteam’s business around the globe.
• Provide legal advice and work closely with our marketing and sales divisions.
• Remain abreast of legislative changes and adapt company policies to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• LLB (or equivalent degree) and current Bar admission (or equivalent registration).
• 4-7 years of extensive experience (after internship) working in a commercial or high-tech department of a leading law firm and as an in-house counsel (a MUST).
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills by actively collaborating with colleagues, and providing support to company’s different stakeholders to ensure collective success in legal matters and projects.
• Skillfully distinguishes critical legal issues from less significant ones, prioritizing tasks and resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Familiarity with data protection and privacy laws in Israel and internationally including HIPAA – a strong advantage.
• Experience working with AI tools; familiarity with AI-based tools - an advantage.
• Super organized, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and own projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in English and Hebrew.
