Legal Counsel

About the Position

Atos Group is a global leader in digital transformation, operating in 61 countries under two brands - Atos for services and Eviden for products. We are currently seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel with 3-6 years of experience to join our energetic legal team, focusing on commercial matters in the BeNeLux and Nordics region.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales and operations departments on commercial related matters and negotiations
• Support the legal department in general, including implementing and supervising processes
• Manage and coordinate the handling of complex and varied legal and transactional matters
• Support and provide legal advice for bids, deals, and projects
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts
• Provide expert legal advice to the business
• Advise in contract reviews and approval processes
• Participate in Group Legal Department activities and projects

Requirements

• Excellent academic qualifications, including law degree, LL.M., or equivalent
• In-depth understanding of how business operates and how legal issues affect the organization
• Excellent judgement and analytical skills
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to operate as an independent advisor and to build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships both internally and externally
• Ability to manage multiple matters at the same time

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of EU tender law and its Dutch equivalents
• Experience with Legal Tech and AI solutions
• Previous experience in the IT or technology sector or comparable industry and/or experience from law firm or in-house legal function
• Enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and proactivity in solving issues
• Good team spirit
