We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join KAVE's legal team. The selected candidate will provide legal advice to various areas of the company, with a special focus on commercial and contract law, contributing to the business operating with legal security, agility, and efficiency.

They will work closely with the Legal Department and internal teams, participating in the review, negotiation, and management of contracts, as well as corporate, commercial, and international projects. We are looking for a profile with a practical approach, business orientation, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international, and growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to various areas of the company, especially in commercial law, contract law, and commercial operations.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring a proper balance between protecting the company's interests and business needs.
• Legally support internal teams in decision-making, identifying legal risks, and proposing pragmatic solutions that facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
• Advise on the application of the regulatory framework in the various markets where the company operates, with the support of external advisors when necessary.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, HR, Operations, Business, and other areas to identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
• Contribute to the development, updating, and implementation of contractual models, internal policies, procedures, and legal guidelines that promote standardization and efficiency in the legal function.
• Participate in continuous improvement and transformation initiatives in the legal area, promoting the simplification of processes, digitalization, and legal operations practices.
• Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments for the company's activities, assessing their potential impact, and collaborating in their internal implementation.
• Participate in the management and resolution of daily legal incidents, ensuring agile responses aligned with the operational needs of the organization.
• Collaborate in the training and awareness of internal teams on contractual matters, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Solid experience in commercial and contract law of between 5-7 years, acquired in a law firm and/or in a corporate environment.
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in international companies, retail, e-commerce, distribution, or related sectors is highly valued.
• Postgraduate training in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, Corporate Legal Advice, Corporate Law, or similar.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, essential for communication in an international environment.
• High analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Business vision and ability to translate complex legal issues into clear and practical recommendations.
• Problem-solving, autonomous, and organized profile, with the ability to manage different issues and priorities simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with interlocutors from different levels and areas of the organization.
• Team orientation, technical rigor, and collaborative attitude.
