As a Legal Counsel specializing in IT Law, you will be part of a team where law meets cloud, AI, international clients, and rapid innovation. Your expertise ensures that ideas transform into legally compliant solutions, enabling growth on a stable foundation.
Location: Mobile Work (Germany-wide)
Responsibilities
- Advising our specialist departments on legal matters related to national and international IT projects (e.g., SaaS, licenses, maintenance, custom developments, terms and conditions).
- Leading contract negotiations and representing our corporate group's interests confidently, including internationally.
- Reviewing and legally securing customer contracts, documents, and tenders (RFP/RFQ).
- Creating, maintaining, and developing legally secure contract templates (approximately 70% in English).
- Monitoring legal developments and deriving practical recommendations and decision-making bases.
- Advising the management, board, and specialist departments on contractual and strategic issues.
- Designing and conducting internal training on IT and contract law for executives and teams.
Requirements
- Completed law degree with a second state examination.
- Professional experience in IT law, ideally with a focus on IT contract law, preferably from in-house work.
- Proven track record of independent and solution-oriented work, even in complex situations.
- Enthusiasm for the diversity and dynamics of IT and digital law.
- Strong, practice-proven communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally.
