We are looking to hire a Legal Counsel specializing in Commercial Law & Projects to support the delivery of client-facing legal projects and commercial engagements. The role will involve working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions, particularly in the areas of commercial law and project-related work.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
• Provide legal support on commercial and project-related matters
• Assist internal teams with legal advice related to ongoing projects
• Support business development initiatives from a legal perspective
• Contribute to the implementation and use of Legal AI tools within the legal function
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners when required

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer in Mexico (Law degree + Cédula Profesional)
• 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience
• Demonstrable experience in commercial law and project-based work
• Familiarity with Legal AI tools and emerging legal technologies
• Experience in, or a strong interest in, business development and client relationship management
• Willingness to travel as required
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous
