We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Kyiv. This role is pivotal in ensuring our operations are fully compliant with local and international regulations affecting online gaming activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the company’s operations are fully compliant with local and international regulations affecting online gaming activities.
• Overseeing the process of obtaining and maintaining licenses across multiple jurisdictions.
• Liaising with regulatory authorities in relation to licensing, compliance, and regulatory inquiries.
• Drafting contracts related to the supply of specialized software solutions.
• Reviewing contracts to ensure legal accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Negotiating contract terms to protect the company’s interests.
• Providing legal advice on regulatory restrictions and developments in the online gaming and entertainment industry.
• Identifying legal risks associated with the company’s operations in existing and new markets.
• Mitigating identified legal and regulatory risks across jurisdictions.
• Supporting the registration of non-resident companies in compliance with legal requirements.
• Managing legal aspects related to non-resident companies and foreign administrators.
• Maintaining and organizing legal documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Providing internal guidance on regulatory and legal updates to support compliance across teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience with 3+ years in a legal role, preferably within highly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of legal regulations affecting online gaming activities.
• Hands-on experience with Due Diligence and Know Your Client (KYC) processes.
• Experience working with non-resident companies and foreign administrators.
• Proven experience managing licensing processes and obtaining permits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience drafting contracts related to the provision of specialized software solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory restrictions imposed by authorities in different regions.
• Basic knowledge of intellectual property laws and procedures related to IP rights acquisition and protection.
• Advanced level of English.
