About the Position

That training data begins with you-your expertise will help power the next generation of AI.
We’re looking for attorneys with substantial litigation experience who can challenge advanced AI models with realistic legal scenarios, assess their reasoning, and identify opportunities for improvement. You’ll work on topics such as statutory interpretation, judicial reasoning, precedent analysis, legal citation formats, case brief construction, and evidentiary standards-documenting performance gaps to strengthen model reasoning.
Responsibilities
- Engage in substantive legal dialogue with the model
- Evaluate its responses for factual accuracy and analytical rigor
- Identify reproducible failure points
- Collaborate with our team to refine prompts and improve evaluation metrics
Requirements
- JD and active law license
- Significant litigation experience (trial work, appellate advocacy, or other contested matters)
- Ability to articulate legal reasoning clearly and precisely
- History of publication, prior clerkships, teaching experience, or subject matter specialization (nice to have)
We Offer
- Pay range of $50 to $75 per hour, determined by experience, expertise, and geographic location
