About the Position

LEGO Product Designer (Stud.io / BrickLink Specialist) – Asia & Europe Based

ANAVRIN® Design Lab is seeking a LEGO Product Designer specializing in Stud.io and BrickLink to create premium, museum-quality miniature environments. This role is based in Asia and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Design original LEGO system builds using Stud.io (BrickLink) as the primary tool
  • Create structurally stable models suitable for real-world production
  • Design architectural scenes such as streets, buildings, interiors, storefronts, environments
  • Plan intelligent brick connections that balance stability, part efficiency, and aesthetics
  • Optimize builds for piece count, build experience, and manufacturing constraints
  • Prepare clean Stud.io files with proper grouping, naming, and organization
  • Generate building instructions directly from Stud.io
  • Collaborate with concept artists, product designers, and production team
  • Iterate designs based on feedback and improve build quality
  • Reference real-world architecture and translate it into brick form with realism
  • Think like a builder, not just like a visual artist

Requirements

  • Expert level proficiency in Stud.io (BrickLink)
  • Deep understanding of LEGO system building techniques
  • Strong knowledge of structural stability and connection logic
  • Experience designing complex multi-module builds
  • Ability to design for real-world assembly, not just visual renders
  • Ability to produce clean, organized, professional Stud.io files
  • Strong architectural sense for proportion, scale, and realism
  • Ability to work independently and iterate quickly

Required Software

  • Stud.io by BrickLink (expert level, primary design tool)
  • BrickLink Parts Library and Catalog familiarity
  • Stud.io Instruction Maker and Step Editor
  • Stud.io Rendering Workspace (for presentation previews)
  • Basic file management and version control discipline

Nice to Have

  • Adobe Photoshop for presentation boards and minor edits
  • Adobe Illustrator for layout work on instructions or diagrams
  • InDesign for instruction booklet layout
  • LDraw ecosystem familiarity
  • Studio Part Designer (custom parts workflow)
