Level 2/3 SOC engineer (I10209)

About the Position

We are seeking a Level 2/3 SOC Engineer (I10209) to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. This role involves securing networks and data systems, both in the cloud and on-premises, and playing a key role in both proactive and reactive security measures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze effective and potential threats and propose specific security solutions to minimize risks.
• Develop accurate documentation and concrete procedures to improve our services.
• Perform active threat hunting to find interesting data in the SIEM and detect security risks or misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with an external partner for the first triage, analyzing and handling real-time alerts and incidents.
• Utilize existing tools such as SIEM (Splunk/Sentinel), vulnerability management (Tenable One), threat intelligence, pentesting, sandboxes, IPS/IDS, and initiate additional tooling initiatives to improve efficiency.
