Licensed Pharmacy Technician - Infusion Pharmacy

At Munson Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our Infusion Pharmacy team at the Cowell Family Cancer Center. This role is integral in supporting patients receiving specialized oncology treatments.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation of sterile IV medications for infusion therapies
• Maintain medication and supply inventory
• Support medication documentation
• Help coordinate timely medication delivery for patient treatments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current pharmacy technician license in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure
• Sterile compounding experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive use of hands and fingers for tasks such as preparing IV admixtures and operating computer systems
• Lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds, including medication supplies, equipment, and IV solutions
• Bending, stooping, or kneeling to access supplies or storage areas
• Walking or standing for extended periods (typically 4–8 hours)
