About the Position

Lider CloudOps - Gestion

We are seeking a Senior CloudOps Manager with multi-platform experience to lead the CloudOps team for Project Aurora, integrating SysOps and DevOps disciplines. The professional will be responsible for the technical and operational management of a team distributed between Argentina and Colombia, acting as the main technical interlocutor with the client for all matters related to the public cloud platform. The role is responsible for meeting the SLAs of the tower, operational governance, and continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CloudOps team (SysOps + DevOps) distributed between Argentina and Colombia.
• Ensure compliance with the availability and incident SLAs of the tower with AVC and Aurora Entities.
• Conduct monthly governance meetings with the client, presenting the operational status of the tower, main risks, mitigations, and capacity evolution.
• Manage complex technical escalations and coordinate with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) when necessary.
• Oversee the execution of emergency and scheduled changes in public cloud production environments.
• Define and maintain runbooks, operating procedures, and technical documentation of the tower.
• Coordinate with database towers, middleware, operating systems, Command Center, and Service Management during major incidents and declared crises.
• Report operational KPIs of the tower and identify continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
• Manage the on-call duty scheme and ensure 24×7 coverage of the team.
• Support the mobilization and knowledge transfer process from AVC's incumbent teams.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years in technical leadership or management roles.
• Practical experience with at least two public cloud providers: AWS and Azure required.
• Conceptual knowledge of DevOps practices: IaC (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
• Experience managing technical teams distributed across multiple countries.
• Proficiency in ITSM frameworks: incident, problem, change management, and service levels (ITIL v3 or v4).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
• Intermediate-advanced English for interaction with international vendors and review of technical documentation.
