About the Position

Linux Embedded Software Engineer

Join TMC as a Linux Embedded Software Engineer in Milan, Italy. Develop and maintain embedded software in C and C++ on Linux-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining embedded software in C and C++ on Linux-based platforms.
• Designing, implementing, and debugging features for connected electronic devices.
• Developing and testing connectivity features based on technologies such as BLE, LoRa, and Zigbee.
• Performing software debugging tasks, root cause analyses, and problem-solving.
• Contributing to software and system testing verification and validation activities.
• Supporting the optimization of software performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participating in technical discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation related to software development and testing activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proven ability to independently develop software using C and C++.
• Experience with embedded Linux environments.
• Knowledge of embedded communication systems, including I2C, UART, and SPI.
• Familiarity with wireless communication technologies such as BLE, LoRa, and Zigbee. Fluency in Italian and English.
• Strong motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC.

We Offer

• A permanent employment contract.
• A gross annual salary (RAL) of at least €33,000, in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) Trade – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.
• A competitive compensation package that may include a profit-sharing component.
