We are seeking a versatile IT professional with a passion for Linux, Windows, and modern infrastructure. Are you energized by managing and optimizing systems, automating processes, and solving complex technical issues?

For our client, we are looking for a System Administrator Linux / Windows who is responsible for a stable, secure, and high-performing IT environment. You will work with various infrastructure components and play a key role in improving the availability, quality, and security of systems.

In addition to traditional system administration, you will work with Docker containers and DevOps workflows. You will have the opportunity to propose improvements, tackle technical challenges independently, and support colleagues with complex ICT issues.

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the management, continuity, and further development of the IT infrastructure. Your duties include:

System Administration: Managing, maintaining, and optimizing various Linux and Windows systems.
Docker & DevOps: Building, managing, and deploying Docker containers within existing DevOps workflows.
Troubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving complex technical failures and performance issues.
Monitoring & Updates: Performing system upgrades, monitoring system performance, and installing and renewing SSL certificates.
User Administration: Creating and managing users, groups, and roles within Active Directory.
Network & Hardware: Installing, configuring, and maintaining physical servers, routers, switches, and access points.
Security & Quality: Identifying and implementing improvements in information security, stability, and manageability.
Technical Support: Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues on complex ICT issues and contributing to structural solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux and Windows systems.
Build, manage, and deploy Docker containers within DevOps workflows.
Analyze and resolve complex technical failures and performance issues.
Perform system upgrades, monitor system performance, and manage SSL certificates.
Create and manage users, groups, and roles within Active Directory.
Install, configure, and maintain physical servers, routers, switches, and access points.
Identify and implement improvements in information security, stability, and manageability.
Act as the first point of contact for colleagues on complex ICT issues.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing Linux and Windows systems.
Experience with Docker and preferably with container deployment within a DevOps environment.
Knowledge of Active Directory and user and rights management.
Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, system updates, and certificate management.
Knowledge of server hardware and network components, such as routers, switches, and access points.
A proactive attitude and an eye for quality, security, and continuous improvement.
Good communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues.

A salary indication of approximately €4,500 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience.
