Linux System Administrator

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator passionate about technology and innovation to manage and maintain our company's Linux systems. You will work in a modern environment focused on automation and artificial intelligence, using tools like Cursor AI to optimize processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Monitor the performance, security, and capacity of systems, and take proactive measures for optimization and improvement.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams for the design and implementation of new systems, applications, and tools.
• Stay updated with new technologies and trends in the Linux domain and propose improvements.
• Cloud management – develop and configure application installation systems, balance workloads, and monitor systems.
• Write and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Integrate AI solutions and vibe coding tools for automation, optimization, and workflow efficiency.
• Explore and implement emerging AI technologies for system monitoring and maintenance.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in administering Linux systems, ideally in large enterprise environments.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, servers, applications, and related technologies (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP).
• Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience or interest in Cursor AI and other AI tools for automation.
• AI literacy – the ability to use AI tools for analysis, monitoring, and optimization.
• Understanding of networking, security, and virtualization.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
