About the Position
Linux System Administrator (w/m/d) Defense Products

Our Defense Platform Services team is looking for a dedicated professional to join us in Karlsruhe or Berlin. In this role, you will be the digital guardian for millions of customers, ensuring the availability of our digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Plattform-Gestaltung: Administration and optimization of complex, Linux-based proxy and defense infrastructures.
- DDoS-Mitigation: Active analysis of attack patterns and implementation of precise countermeasures.
- Innovation als Waffe: Utilization of modern technologies like AI for log analysis and pattern detection.
- Lifecycle Management: Active participation in the evolution of our defense systems in an agile DevOps environment.
- Response-Phase: Participation in essential on-call duty (one week per month) to prevent massive outages.
Requirements
- Erfahrung & Seniorität: 3-5 years of professional experience in platform operations of large infrastructures.
- Technical Stack: Expertise in Linux (Debian/CentOS) and Nginx (Reverse Proxy/WAF). Knowledge of networking concepts like BGP, Flowspec, and Anycast is ideal. Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Python.

- Fluent English; German is a valuable advantage.
