About the Position
Linux Systemadministrator (m/w/d)
Location: München, Germany
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 55.000 - 80.000 € per year
IN A NUTSHELL
As a Linux Systemadministrator, you will be responsible for operating and optimizing our IT infrastructure in our data centers. Your tasks are diverse and include the configuration, monitoring, and updating of systems, as well as the operation, rollouts, and monitoring of our software.
We offer a varied work environment where you can apply and expand your expertise, contributing directly to our success. There is also the opportunity to travel occasionally to Zurich to implement projects with our on-site team.
Responsibilities
- Administration, expansion, and optimization of the IT infrastructure in our data centers where we operate our SaaS product
- Commissioning, configuration, monitoring, and updating of systems
- Support in the operation, rollout, and performance monitoring of our software
- Creation and documentation of IT processes
Requirements
- Completed IT education (e.g., IT technician, IT studies, or comparable qualification)
- Very good knowledge of Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu)
- Very good knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and TLS
- Good knowledge of virtualization technologies (Proxmox, VMware) and Docker
- Good English skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of MongoDB and automation tools such as Ansible, Bash, Git, Gitea, GitLab, TeamCity, Kubernetes, and OpenID/SSO
- Knowledge of Windows, IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Class B driver's license
