We are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join our technology-focused team, responsible for improving infrastructure visibility and operational resilience within a highly regulated financial environment. In this role, you will contribute to a strategic monitoring initiative aimed at enhancing network transparency across a diverse server landscape. You will work closely with infrastructure and security specialists to deploy, maintain, and optimize monitoring solutions while ensuring stable and secure system operations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure monitoring solutions on enterprise Linux platforms
• Install, configure, and support monitoring components across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
• Analyze network activity and system performance to identify operational risks and anomalies
• Troubleshoot platform, connectivity, and performance-related issues
• Support the implementation and testing of monitoring capabilities within a controlled environment
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve system stability, visibility, and operational efficiency

Requirements

Must have:

• At least 5 years of experience administering Linux-based environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewall technologies, and traffic filtering
• Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Shell, or PowerShell
• Practical knowledge of integrating and working with REST-based interfaces
• Fluent English communication skills and availability to work in a hybrid model with regular office presence

Nice to have:

• Experience with firewalls
• Proficiency in Windows software
• Cisco Certified Network Professional certification
• Familiarity with Illumio
