About the Position
Live Trader
Medellín, Colombia
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of a Live Trader is to actively manage and oversee live events, ensuring a consistently high standard in the overall offer and product quality. This position requires a strong focus on risk control, monitoring real-time data, and making quick, informed decisions to mitigate potential risks. Additionally, the Live Trader is expected to play a key role in driving the company’s sportsbook KPIs by contributing to the optimization of odds, ensuring competitive offerings, and enhancing the overall betting experience for customers. The individual in this position will be instrumental in maintaining a balance between product excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction, while adapting to the fast-paced nature of live events.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring live odds are in line with the industry and risk managed accordingly.
- Ensuring quick and correct evaluation of the markets.
- Having a deep understanding of each sport offered.
- Solving problems, contingencies, and issues in the quickest way with minimal interruptions.
- Monitoring real-time events (identify and report suspicious betting behaviors).
- Helping in the data collection for the competitor analysis project, and in other tasks or projects that might be assigned by the Bookmaking strategy team.
- Assisting in testing of new betting features in back office and Third-Party Providers.

- A desk-based role, demanding exceptional focus and the ability to make critical decisions in real-time.

Salary
The salary range for this role is $2.700.000 - $3.200.000 per year, based on skill level and experience.
