About the Role

NudgeLoans.co.za is a growing financial comparison platform helping South Africans compare personal loans, payday loans, business funding, vehicle finance, and other credit products from trusted lenders. Our goal is to make borrowing simpler, more transparent, and easier to understand through high-quality financial content and comparison tools.

We are looking for a Loan Content Editor to create, edit, and optimize content across our loan comparison websites.

Responsibilities

Write and edit loan comparison content, lender reviews, and financial guides.
Create landing pages targeting loan-related search terms and comparison categories.
Research personal loans, payday loans, vehicle finance, debt consolidation loans, and business funding products.
Update existing content to ensure information remains accurate and compliant.
Optimize articles for SEO, including keyword placement, internal linking, and content structure.
Fact-check loan terms, interest rates, fees, and lending requirements.
Work closely with marketing and SEO teams to improve organic search performance.
Upload and format content within WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Monitor competitor websites and identify new content opportunities.
Ensure all content complies with financial advertising standards and responsible lending guidelines.

Requirements

Excellent written English.
Experience writing or editing finance, fintech, banking, or loan-related content.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.
Experience using WordPress or similar content management systems.
Ability to research complex financial topics and explain them clearly.
High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working for a loan comparison website, fintech company, or financial publisher.
Knowledge of South African lending products and consumer finance regulations.
Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
Experience creating comparison pages, lender reviews, and financial calculators content.
