About the Role
As a Logistics Business Analyst Junior, you will be a supportive role in an SAP environment, contributing to the optimization, digitalization, and regular maintenance of logistics processes at the distribution center (DC) under the guidance of a Local Process Expert. This position involves practical management of master data and configurations, solving common SAP requests, and escalating non-standard issues. You will participate in projects and continuous improvement activities as a team member, gradually building expertise leading to independent task management. Additionally, you will support the Smart Factory concept through specific tasks and pilot projects, developing process knowledge across all functional departments of the plant.
Responsibilities
- Management of warehouse-specific data under the guidance of a Local Process Expert and in collaboration with the Stock Controller.
- Training new SAP system users.
- Performing routine local SAP configuration updates according to defined procedures.
- Providing second-level SAP support for operational teams in routine cases and escalating complex or non-standard issues to the Local Process Expert.
- Basic data analysis in SAP to support process improvement activities.
- Collaborating on local digital transformation projects as a project team member.
- Supporting the Smart Factory concept through assigned tasks.
- Participating in the testing and implementation of operational system changes.
- Supporting user training after successful deployment of new solutions.
- Maintaining and supplementing "Problem – Cause – Solution" documentation for resolved SAP incidents.
- Gradually expanding process knowledge at the plant through guided learning and taking on increasing responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in logistics or SAP environment.
- Basic experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) or ERP systems.
- Proven interest in artificial intelligence (AI) tools and their practical application in studies, personal projects, or work environment.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Communicative proficiency in Czech and English.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn logistics and warehouse processes from the basics to their overall functioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to spend time directly on the warehouse floor with operators and team leaders.
- Systematic and reliable approach to documentation and routine tasks.
- Basic analytical thinking.
- Creative problem-solving approach, even at a junior level.
