LOGISTICS TRANSFORMATION & AUTOMATION MANAGER

Currently, we are driving one of the most significant operational transformations in our history: the expansion and automation of our main logistics center.

This project will mark a before and after in our logistics capacity, incorporating new automation technologies, new operational processes, and a model prepared to accompany the future growth of the company.

What will be your mission?

We are looking for a person who will lead this transformation from a comprehensive perspective, combining experience in logistics operations, automation, project management, and continuous improvement to build a scalable, efficient, and benchmark operation in the sector.

You will be a key piece within the organization and the main partner figure of the Platform Director and the Logistics Director in the evolution of the operational model of our logistics center.

Responsibilities

Leading the transformation of our logistics operations

• Lead the expansion and automation program of the logistics center, ensuring the achievement of capacity, productivity, quality, service, and return on investment objectives.
• Act as an internal reference in warehouse automation and intralogistics.
• Lead automation, digitalization, and operational transformation projects.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners during the design, implementation, and commissioning phases.

Driving operational excellence

• Define and execute the Operational Excellence strategy of the logistics center.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives with an impact on productivity, quality, safety, and costs.
• Design data-driven monitoring and control systems to drive decision-making.
• Ensure robust, efficient, and scalable operations.

Leading teams and change management

• Develop and lead the Operational Excellence & Automation team.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
• Promote a culture oriented towards innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Lead ergonomics, safety, and job optimization initiatives.

Contributing to Kave's strategy

• Act as the main support for the Platform Director in defining and evolving the operational model.
• Participate in strategic decisions related to capacity, productivity, and growth of operations.
• Lead key projects to prepare the logistics platform for the next years of growth.

Requirements

Experience

• More than 8 years of experience in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Experience leading complex and high-volume logistics operations.
• Demonstrable experience in warehouse automation and logistics transformation.
• Participation in expansion projects, commissioning, or transformation of logistics centers.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.

We Value

• Experience in highly automated or robotic environments.
• Experience with advanced intralogistics solutions (AMRs, conveyors, automatic sorting, AS/RS, AutoStore, or similar).
• Knowledge of WMS systems and logistics technologies.
• Experience in change management and deployment of new operational models.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management certifications.
