Location: Winter Park, Florida

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, terminate, and organize low-voltage wiring
• Install and trim out wired devices and system components
• Install motion detectors, CCTV and surveillance cameras, security equipment, access control components, and fire alarm devices
• Assist with wiring and installation of access control systems
• Read and follow blueprints, installation drawings, manufacturer instructions, and equipment manuals
• Apply basic electrical and low-voltage installation practices in the field
• Troubleshoot basic wiring, device, and installation issues
• Use ladders and work at heights when required
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment
• Work alongside technicians and other team members to complete projects safely and correctly
• Take on additional low-voltage installation responsibilities as your skills and experience grow

Requirements

• 1–3 years of installation, electrical, low-voltage, or related hands-on experience
• Experience pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage wire
• Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems
• Must be able and willing to use ladders, work at heights, and work in attics or other confined spaces as required for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and follow equipment and installation manuals is preferred but not required
• Commercial low-voltage installation experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with access control, CCTV, fire alarm devices, security alarms, or related low-voltage systems is preferred but not required
