About the Position
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join our team. You will work on real ML and software engineering tasks across different stages of the ML lifecycle - not toy problems. Depending on your background, you may focus on data processing, model development, or supporting deployment workflows.
Responsibilities
- Support development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
- Work with data pipelines, experiments, and model iterations
- Help integrate ML models into larger software systems
- Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and drive them to completion
- Document your work and share learnings with the team
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently completed BSc/MSc in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Solid Python fundamentals
- Understanding of core ML concepts: classification, regression, model evaluation
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts (Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API, or similar)
- Motivated to work independently on defined tasks
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience building ML models outside of coursework
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
