Magento Front End Developer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Magento Front End Developer to join our team to work on the US-based enterprise project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Magento 2 frontend components
• Ensure high performance and scalability of the frontend
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend services

Requirements

• 2+ years Magento 2 Frontend development experience
• Proficiency with: HTML5/CSS3/SASS/LESS/Bootstrap/JavaScript
• Understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, and theming hierarchy
• Knowledge of Docker
• Understanding of business processes
• Practical experience in development of high-loaded projects
• Understanding Magento “under the hood”
• Good knowledge of Git and development tools (Gulp, Webpack, etc.)
• Knowledge of OOP, PHP, MySQL
• Confident understanding of SOAP, REST
• Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Prototype, RequireJS, Knockout.js, React.js)
• Experience with NoSQL databases and queue systems (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• English: Intermediate and higher

Nice to Have

• Knowledge how to create PWAs for existing and new projects
• Experience with Solr, ElasticSearch
• Advanced Linux knowledge
• Magento 2 certification
