Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)-Motorcycle plant

Continental Tyres (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) for our Motorcycle plant. This role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance optimization to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Optimization: Enhance operational reliability by systematically reducing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
• Equipment Breakdown Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of equipment breakdowns and correlate findings with existing preventive maintenance protocols.
• Machine Tolerance Assessment: Evaluate Machine Tolerance Check (MTC) trend data to identify critical component vulnerabilities and implement targeted reinforcement measures.
• Spare Parts Strategy: Analyze high-consumption spare parts inventory to develop strategies for extending component lifespan or identifying cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintenance Strategy Implementation: Ensure the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy, focusing on MaintainME and including SAP PM, with interfaces to other departments.
• Supplier Performance Management: Collaborate with the Purchasing department to establish rigorous service level agreements with suppliers and evaluate qualified local alternatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and industrial processes.
• Proven track record in preventive maintenance planning and optimization.
• Proficiency in spare parts inventory management and supplier evaluation methodologies.
• Advanced certification in maintenance engineering or reliability management, coupled with demonstrated proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience in electrical systems or related fields will be advantageous.
• Experience in Project improvement.
• Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross-culture environment.
• Good command of English.
