About the Position

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician - CNC to work with a leading manufacturing company in Shelby Twp. This role is essential for supporting CNC operations by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure safe and efficient production.

Shift Patterns

1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday (May have some light OT during the week or Saturday)

Pay Rates

$25.00 - $33.00 USD hourly

Responsibilities

Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust CNC machines to maintain peak performance
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and maintenance schedules
Support the maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes

Requirements

Essential

Must have CNC maintenance experience
Must have own tools
Must have experience repairing lathes, mills, and other workplace equipment
Must have strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
Must have blueprint and schematic reading ability
Must have preventive maintenance experience
Must have knowledge of LOTO and safety protocols

Desirable

Experience with FANUC or Siemens interfaces
Technical degree or certification in mechanical or electrical fields
Experience with PLC-supported troubleshooting
Strong communication skills for operator and setup team coordination
