Maintenance Technician / Senior Maintenance Technician

About the Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician / Senior Maintenance Technician for our team in Tokyo, Japan. Responsibilities include monitoring machinery, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machinery and systems in CFC and respond to issues promptly.
• Conduct planned maintenance (inspections, cleaning, etc.) safely following established procedures.
• Implement 5S activities (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Follow labor safety and hygiene laws and company safety rules, and communicate with safety and hygiene officers as needed.

Requirements

• Japanese language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory.
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge and relevant qualifications (training provided upon joining).
• Safety management and/or 2nd class hygiene management certification (preferred).
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing (preferred).
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing and solving on-site problems (preferred).
• Experience in planned maintenance, predictive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance (preferred).
• Experience with automation hardware and software (preferred).
• Communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Work Schedule

The position involves a 4-shift, 3-team rotation (8 hours per day). Depending on project status, it may also involve day shifts (8 hours per day).
