About the Position
Entain is seeking a Management Accountant for their Ladbrokes Coral Retail Division in London. This role involves producing timely, accurate, and insightful management accounting and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the UK and Northern Ireland side of the business.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed to agreed deadlines.
- Deliver insightful analysis and commentary on all key variances to budget/forecast/prior year.
- Ensure certain group reporting requirements are completed within required deadlines.
- Preparation of annual budgets – work with budget owners to create annual budgets and reforecasts.
- Support the SMA in collation of audit files and audit deliverables for Interim and year-end audit.
- Support ad-hoc analysis in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Build good working relationships with key contacts to understand the business and its needs.
- Work with the wider Finance team regarding financial reporting requirements and improvements.
Requirements
- Finance Qualification – Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in management accounting
- Preferably experience working in the Retail Sector
- Experience of planning, forecasting, and delivery of insight through analysis
- Strong level of Excel skills (v/h lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables, etc)
- Experience with reporting and presentation of data
- Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable commercial awareness
- Results driven, can work at a fast pace whilst ensuring accuracy
- Ability to take ownership of an area and drive improvement
