About this Position

What you'll do

• Manage applications within the existing portfolio and maintain documentation in accordance with internal corporate guidelines, including continuous updates, incident management, and change management.
• Manage and administer servers in collaboration with Corporate IT and support database administration, including Oracle and APEX Application Server.
• Analyze, manage, and further develop (geo)data for our headquarters in Düsseldorf and other locations.
• Plan and execute IT projects in the areas of geoinformatics and CAFM.
• Manage service providers and ensure the quality of data and processes.
• Coordinate and implement the functional and strategic development of the geodata infrastructure in alignment with the site operator, central functions, and suppliers.
• Evaluate alternative solutions when introducing new technologies.
• Ensure the continuous development of specialized information technology and digitalization.

Requirements

• University degree (Master’s degree / Diploma) in (Geo-)Informatics, Database Management, or a comparable field of study with a strong IT focus.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in database/data management and cloud environments required.
• Strong intrinsic focus on quality and implementation, combined with analytical thinking skills and the ability to quickly understand complex interrelationships.
• Ability to define goals and work towards achieving them in a structured and independent manner.
• Excellent German (>= C1 level) and English language skills, both written and spoken.
