Job Description
What will you do?
As Manager Operational Excellence, you will provide direction to a department that helps our organization work better, safer, and more efficiently. You will combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach and be visible within the organization.
Your tasks will include:
- Leading and coaching the Operational Excellence team.
- Developing and implementing improvement initiatives in the areas of processes, quality, and safety.
- Monitoring departmental goals and reporting results to management.
- Guiding audits, risk analyses, and quality controls.
- Initiating and supporting change processes within the organization.
- Encouraging collaboration between departments and breaking down silo thinking.
- Coordinating structural problem-solving and Root Cause Analyses.
- Serving as Installation Manager (NEN 3140) or pursuing the necessary training for this role.
Your location will be our headquarters in Ede, where we prefer you to be present approximately three days per week. The remaining workdays can be flexible from home or another location. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from all fields within the entire Benelux organization.

Job Requirements

You are someone who:
- Has a HBO work and thinking level.
- Has experience with operations, quality, safety, process improvement, or operational excellence.
- Has leadership experience or has demonstrably managed teams and projects.
- Is highly analytical and quickly sees connections.
- Acts independently and proactively.
- Is a strong conversational partner who is not afraid to speak up when necessary.
- Remains pragmatic while engaging people.
- Is curious and wants to continue developing themselves.
A technical or electrical engineering background is a plus. Experience with safety science, quality management, or NEN 3140 is a bonus, but motivation and learning ability are at least as important.
Additional Information
As Manager Operational Excellence at BEUMER Group, you will be part of our Operational Excellence Team Benelux. You will report directly to the Managing Director Benelux. In this role, you will lead a team of four specialists who are committed daily to continuously improving our performance in the areas of safety, quality, processes, and efficiency. You will play a key role in realizing improvement initiatives, strengthening our improvement culture, and supporting the further growth of our organization.
