Manager, Platform Growth and Operations

About the Position

We are seeking a Manager, Platform Growth and Operations to lead our team in growing our online platform and marketplace, ensuring a great user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the team on reviewing market performance and driving various initiatives to grow the online platform business across all markets, by combining data insights and local market intelligence.
• Establish frameworks, processes, and workflows to facilitate better decision making and enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive marketplace product and capability enhancements through defining and articulating the business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with other Functional Departments on cross-functional initiatives.
• Prepare the online platform budget for all markets, and maximize the effectiveness and ROI of implemented campaigns and initiatives.
• Mentor and guide the team to bring the most out of them and support their personal and career development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations with frequent use of analytics or data.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.
• Strong business acumen and ability to make tradeoffs with clear business objectives in mind.
• Proven track record of effective stakeholder and project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Occasional travel is required.

Nice to Have

• Relevant experience in a high growth start-up environment or online marketplace / platform.
• Experience working with, analyzing, and presenting findings from large data sets.
