Responsibilities

• Plan and lead complex supply chain projects with a focus on value network optimization, supplier enablement and management, as well as sustainability across the supply chain.
• Advise our clients’ top management on strategies and implementation concepts for efficient and sustainable supply chain solutions.
• Develop and implement concepts for demand planning, program planning, capacity management, and order fulfillment.
• Design end-to-end information flows and define IT requirements within the supply chain.
• Develop and optimize KPI systems for effective supply chain management and performance monitoring.
• Apply digitalization methods (Industry 4.0 technologies) and innovative approaches to drive operational excellence.
• Take overall responsibility in critical project situations at OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring transparency, stability, and security of supply.
• Develop sustainable strategies for the industry of tomorrow: designing resilient, cost-effective, and future-oriented procurement and production strategies that can withstand global challenges and emerging trends.
• Act as the key interface between the shop floor and management: leveraging your analytical mindset and understanding of both operational and strategic contexts to enable informed decision-making for our clients.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, independently manage (sub-)projects, and actively contribute to turning visions into reality.

Requirements

• Passionate about topics such as supply chain management, supplier management, and operations.
• Academic background, ideally in engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry or in management consulting.
• Strong conceptual mindset while also being able to implement solutions pragmatically and effectively.
• Results-oriented while always keeping people and collaboration in focus.
• Hands-on problem solver with strong digital competencies.
• Excellent German and English language skills, along with strong teamwork, communication, and presentation abilities.
• High willingness to travel and a high degree of flexibility.
