We are looking for a Manager Technische Dienst who looks beyond solving breakdowns and organizing maintenance. A leader who provides direction, involves people in change, and connects technology with safety, reliability, and business results.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the technical reliability, safety, and maintenance of our assets at the Dutch terminals.
• You lead the Technical Service and develop it into a professional, proactive organization that looks ahead, works methodically, and contributes to the performance of our operations.
• You bring structure, set clear priorities, and ensure the effective use of people, resources, and budgets. You consider not only today's challenges but also tomorrow's needs.
• You work closely with the operational organization, HSE, suppliers, and external technical partners. You understand how technical availability, safety, and operational efficiency influence each other.
• You ensure safe machinery, installations, and infrastructure and guarantee the execution of inspections, inspections, and technical risk management.
• You develop a preventive and risk-managed maintenance strategy to reduce breakdowns and increase the reliability and availability of assets.
• You make informed choices about maintenance, overhaul, replacement, and investments, with an eye on costs and performance throughout the entire lifecycle.
• You stimulate standardization, digitalization, and process improvements to make the Technical Service work smarter and more efficiently.

Requirements

• You have a completed HBO degree, for example, in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Business Administration.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar managerial position within a technically complex environment, such as in the port, industry, or process technology.
• You have demonstrable experience with maintenance management, asset management, and technical improvement processes.
• You are decisive, communicate clearly, and know how to involve people in your choices. You always keep the common goal in mind.
• As a true people manager, you bring out the best in your team. You coach, motivate, and encourage employees to develop further.
• You are financially aware and have experience with performance indicators and budget management.
• You have experience with process optimization and continuous improvement and get energy from making processes smarter, more efficient, and future-proof.
• You have excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
