Our client is a family-owned Austrian company with over 40 years of experience, specializing in the trade of raw materials for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries. Our client operates across multinational regions, prioritizing high-quality products and customized services.

As part of the succession planning, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to assume the role of Managing Director for our small branch in the Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on the purchase of raw materials for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food industries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
• Maintain long-term customers, from procurement to sales of raw materials, leveraging expertise and negotiation skills
• Manage existing customer relationships, actively acquire new clients, and select reliable suppliers
• Work in the Region of North Bohemia or Prague, as well as on-site with customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Requirements

• Academic education in natural sciences, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, food technology, or similar fields
• Working experience within a trading company, preferably in the field of nutritional supplements
• Professional experience in sales or purchasing of raw materials
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in Czech and English; German is a plus
• Open and approachable demeanor with an independent and self-reliant mindset
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
• Results-oriented, deadline-conscious, and creative in problem-solving
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of people
