Manual QA Engineer

About the Position

QA Madness, a European IT service company specializing in QA and cyber security, is currently seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our team. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Poland, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality services.

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to work on a short-term project for an educational games platform that helps students learn new material. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing for mobile and web applications.
• Write and maintain test documentation and report bugs in Jira (Confluence, Jira applets) and Jira Zephyr.
• Utilize tools, techniques, and platforms for defect tracking, test design, and execution.
• Understand and apply Agile methodologies.
• Perform REST API testing.
• Have a working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS.
• Understand performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:

  • 4+ years of related experience in QA.
  • Experience in mobile and web testing.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS.
  • Understanding of SDLC.
  • Working knowledge of REST API testing.
  • Experience in writing test documentation and reporting bugs in Jira (Confluence, Jira applets) and Jira Zephyr.
  • Experience in tools, techniques, and platforms for defect tracking, test design, and execution and ability to configure them on a required level.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English (effective written and verbal communication).
  • Understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools will be a plus.
