About the Position

Responsibilities

• Test Execution: Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to verify functionality, usability, and performance across different devices and browsers.
• Bug Identification: Detect, document, and report software bugs and inconsistencies to support the development team in resolving issues quickly.
• Test Planning: Follow structured test plans and checklists to validate new features and ensure existing functionality remains intact.
• Usability Evaluation: Provide feedback on user experience and interface design to help improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Regression Testing: Re-test existing features after updates or fixes to confirm that changes do not introduce new problems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to align testing efforts with project goals and timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed records of test cases, results, and identified issues to ensure transparency and traceability.
• Learning and Growth: Explore multiple development paths, including automation testing, software development, or specialized testing roles, based on individual strengths and interests.

Requirements

• Required

  • Interest in Technology: Passion for digital products, software applications, and emerging technologies.
  • Detail-Oriented Approach: Strong observational skills to identify even subtle issues and inconsistencies.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical thinking to diagnose problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly document findings and collaborate with team members in verbal and written formats.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop skills in software testing, development, or automation tools through training and hands-on experience.
  • Basic Computer Literacy: Comfortable navigating computers, web browsers, and common software applications.

• Preferred

  • Testing Tools: Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, or similar platforms for managing test cases and reporting bugs.
  • Web and Mobile Knowledge: Basic understanding of how websites and mobile apps function, including concepts like HTML and CSS.
  • Coding Interest: Enthusiasm for learning programming languages like JavaScript,.NET, or similar to support growth into development or test automation roles.
