Manufacturing Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at TMC in Eindhoven, Netherlands. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will represent the product department and act as a bridge between clients, R&D, and product departments. You will ensure that products are manufactured and/or assembled correctly the first time around.

Based on your technical knowledge or experience with complex assembly processes, you will assess the feasibility of each new product and/or process design. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be the lead or a participant in a multidisciplinary team (including quality, R&D, engineering, procurement, work preparation, production) with the goal of achieving the best results together.

Additionally, you will process change requests (and perform risk analyses), and create user manuals and work instructions for operators.

Clients are located in the areas of semiconductors, complex mechanical engineering, automotive, healthcare, and aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Represent the product department and act as a bridge between clients, R&D, and product departments.
• Assess the feasibility of new product and/or process designs based on technical knowledge and experience.
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best results.
• Process change requests and perform risk analyses.
• Create user manuals and work instructions for operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor- or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an engineer in technically complex production and/or assembly projects.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, FMEA, 8D, SPC, and creating work instructions.
• Strong social and communication skills (confident, convincing, proactive, stakeholder management).
• Fluency in Dutch (and English); This position requires communication with Dutch-speaking clients.
