Responsibilities
- Perform machinery system technical advisory, including shaft alignment calculations, shaft vibration analysis, troubleshooting on machinery failures.
- Execute full-cycle technical and commercial due diligence for marine assets.
- Conduct decarbonization consulting projects, e.g. GHG emissions assessment, vessel energy efficiency analysis, fuel selection, decarbonization pathways development and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-regional teams to advance project execution.
- Engage and participate in on-site audit / measurements according to business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Marine Engineering or comparable engineering disciplines.
- 3+ years working experiences in the maritime industry.
- Good understanding of shipping and decarbonization.
- In-depth practical knowledge of marine engine systems, vessel machinery operation and maintenance.
- Strong consulting mindset, capable of analyzing the data systematically, delivering structured solutions, communicating professionally with internal and international stakeholders, and working in a project-based business environment.
- Knowledge on EEDI, EEXI, CII, FuelEU, IMO GHG regulations and compliance.
- Good written & verbal English proficiency for drafting reports and cross-border communication.
Nice to Have
- Oversea sailing experience as Second Engineer or Third Engineer.
- Work experience on dual fuel system.
- Knowledge on programming, dashboard/tool/software development.
