Responsibilities

  • Perform machinery system technical advisory, including shaft alignment calculations, shaft vibration analysis, troubleshooting on machinery failures.
  • Execute full-cycle technical and commercial due diligence for marine assets.
  • Conduct decarbonization consulting projects, e.g. GHG emissions assessment, vessel energy efficiency analysis, fuel selection, decarbonization pathways development and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-regional teams to advance project execution.
  • Engage and participate in on-site audit / measurements according to business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Marine Engineering or comparable engineering disciplines.
  • 3+ years working experiences in the maritime industry.
  • Good understanding of shipping and decarbonization.
  • In-depth practical knowledge of marine engine systems, vessel machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Strong consulting mindset, capable of analyzing the data systematically, delivering structured solutions, communicating professionally with internal and international stakeholders, and working in a project-based business environment.
  • Knowledge on EEDI, EEXI, CII, FuelEU, IMO GHG regulations and compliance.
  • Good written & verbal English proficiency for drafting reports and cross-border communication.

Nice to Have

  • Oversea sailing experience as Second Engineer or Third Engineer.
  • Work experience on dual fuel system.
  • Knowledge on programming, dashboard/tool/software development.
