About the Position

Join Luxoft's India Trading and Risk management solutions practice as a Market Risk Consultant, focusing on Market Risk in financial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Risk Analysis: Contributing to Requirement Analysis in the Risk space for various projects.
  • Business Understanding: Contributing to understanding the business needs, identifying business solutions, and validating the pros and cons of technical solution options.
  • Interface Role: Interact with Risk users and interface between Business and IT with respect to Murex.
  • Application Configuration: Configure the application as part of the implementation.
  • Support: Follow up with Murex as and when necessary to resolve bugs and issues.
  • Front Office Opportunity: There is a possibility to also work in the Front Office stream.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in banking or capital markets with a strong focus on Market Risk.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets across multiple asset classes such as Treasury, Commodities, FX (Cash and Derivatives), and Interest Rate Derivatives.
  • Risk Exposure: Good exposure to risk and pricing concepts across at least two asset classes.
  • Market Risk Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Market Risk fundamentals, including CVA and collateral management.
  • Certification: CFA or FRM certification is mandatory.
  • Adaptability: Prior experience with Murex is not required; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms is essential.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Murex Exposure: Exposure to Murex or similar risk management systems.
  • Trade Lifecycle: Understanding of trade lifecycle across asset classes.
  • Global Experience: Experience working with global stakeholders or distributed teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory or risk reporting frameworks.
