We’re looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Performance Marketing team in Montreal. In this role, you’ll be at the center of delivering scalable, data-driven customer communications across the full lifecycle using Salesforce Marketing Cloud as our core marketing automation platform.

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll combine technical expertise, campaign execution, and strategic thinking to help drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention globally. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with marketers, operations, and leadership to build and optimize impactful customer journeys across email, in-app messaging, and automation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize email and in-app campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Develop and maintain automated customer journeys, triggers, segmentation strategies, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Partner closely with Marketing Automation Specialists, team leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to support business and regional marketing goals
  • Own end-to-end campaign execution, including QA, testing, deployment, reporting, and optimization
  • Support strategic customer lifecycle initiatives, including batch sends, transactional messaging, triggered communications, and nurture journeys
  • Leverage advanced marketing automation capabilities such as AI-powered personalization, predictive analytics, dynamic content, and advanced audience segmentation
  • Analyze campaign and engagement performance to generate insights and continuously improve results
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and long-term automation strategies
  • Manage and prioritize projects through JIRA while ensuring timely delivery across multiple initiatives
  • Ensure marketing database health, audience governance, and compliance with GDPR, CASL, and other privacy regulations
  • Contribute to innovation and process improvement within the marketing automation function

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM marketing, or email marketing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, segmentation, and triggered communications
  • Experience working with enterprise-level marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Pardot, HubSpot, ChurnZero, or Salesforce
  • Experience building and troubleshooting automation workflows, audience segmentation, and campaign logic
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with HTML, SQL, or AMPscript is considered a strong asset
