1KOMMA5° was founded in summer 2021 by entrepreneurs and industry experts with the goal of making buildings holistically CO2 neutral through the use of photovoltaics, heat pumps, and charging infrastructure.
This is achieved by providing technology for a decentralized, clean energy, mobility, and heat supply. Through the intelligent energy management "Heartbeat" and the dynamic electricity tariff "Dynamic Pulse", 1KOMMA5° always guarantees the cheapest and cleanest electricity from sun and wind.
1KOMMA5° participates in particularly innovative craft businesses in the areas of photovoltaics, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and heat pumps, in order to strengthen regional craftsmanship on the one hand and to enable high-quality advice and installation at the customer's location on the other. Currently, 1KOMMA5° operates over 65 locations with around 1,500 employees from Europe to Australia.
In addition, 1KOMMA5° works on the networking and control of decentralized generation plants, with the aim of fully realizing the potential of the decentralized energy transition. For this purpose, all installed systems are part of a networked IoT platform, which, through the use of algorithms, guarantees the optimal, automatic operation over the life of the system.
