Marketing Manager – Styrene & Polystyrene

We are seeking a Marketing Manager for the Istanbul entity of a leading international petrochemical company. The role will focus on identifying and developing new market opportunities, applications, and commercial growth initiatives for the company's Styrene & Polystyrene portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Identify new applications and growth opportunities for Styrene & Polystyrene products.
• Monitor demand, market trends, pricing, and competitive dynamics.
• Analyze trade flows, customs statistics, and industry data.
• Support customer development, application development, and new market opportunity projects.
• Assess customer needs and support new product development initiatives.
• Evaluate business opportunities and project economics.
• Prepare market reports, business cases, and management presentations.
• Work closely with Sales, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams.

Requirements

• Experience in petrochemicals, polymers, plastics, chemicals, or related B2B industrial markets.
• Knowledge of Styrene, Polystyrene, GPPS, HIPS, EPS, or related styrenics products.
• Experience in market intelligence, market development, demand forecasting, pricing analysis, and strategic planning.
• Understanding of B2B marketing, industrial sales, and value proposition development.
• Ability to evaluate project economics, profitability, market share potential, and business opportunities.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• English B2+.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
