We are seeking a Markup Developer (Part-Time) to join our dynamic team and enhance our frontend development efforts. This role offers flexible working hours and is not intended as a full-time position.

About the Product

TMetric is a fast-growing SaaS product that helps businesses and professionals worldwide track time effortlessly and improve productivity. TMetric started as a simple yet powerful time tracking solution for companies, agencies, consultants, and freelancers. Today, it is expanding beyond time tracking into payroll, billing, and invoicing, helping businesses convert tracked time into invoices, streamline client billing, and simplify payroll calculations.

With cross-platform availability (web, desktop, and mobile) and a strong market presence, TMetric is evolving into a comprehensive solution for time tracking, payroll, and financial workflow automation.

Responsibilities

As a part-time Markup Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Transforming UI/UX designs into clean, responsive, and high-quality HTML/CSS interfaces that deliver consistent user experience across products
  • Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of designs while maintaining usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Developing and maintaining a reusable library of markup components to improve development efficiency and design consistency
  • Collaborating closely with designers and developers to bridge the gap between design vision and technical implementation
  • Identifying and resolving responsiveness, compatibility, and performance issues across devices and browsers
  • Continuously improving markup standards, maintainability, and frontend best practices
  • Proactively suggesting UI/UX improvements through thoughtful implementation and optimization
  • Helping establish efficient workflows and standards that enable faster delivery without compromising quality

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in frontend or markup development, preferably in a SaaS or product environment
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
  • Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces
  • Experience working with at least one template engine syntax such as DTL, Pug, Pebble, ERB, Twig, Liquid, Handlebars, or ASP.NET Razor (Razor is highly preferred)
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and best practices
  • Familiarity with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap
  • Ability to collaborate with designers and propose UI/UX improvements based on technical feasibility
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and Git
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) for collaboration with frontend teams
  • Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (relevant certifications are a plus)
