Markup Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Markup Engineer with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to join our team in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop markup for assigned product module(s)/features using TailwindCSS, HTML5, CSS3;
• Clarify requirements to the level of accurate estimation;
• Meet the deadlines;
• Review UX/UI design for potential markup bottlenecks while maintaining a state-of-the-art user interface;
• Maintain clean code according to project standards;
• Peer review the other colleagues’ code;
• Collaborate in the team to mutually improve each other.

Requirements

• HTML, CSS - confident knowledge;
• JavaScript - minimal initial knowledge;
• React.js - initial knowledge or strong desire to develop yourself in this direction;
• Minimum 2 years of non-freelance experience;
• Familiarity with Git;
• Result-oriented team working and communication;
• English - Pre-Intermediate and higher

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar library;
• Familiarity with Webpack, Docker;
• Experience with estimation of own work;
• Experience with at least one modern software development process (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall);
• Desire to broaden the skills range towards frontend web software engineer.
