About the Position
We are looking for a Material Management Coordinator to join our team at TMC in Ede, Netherlands. Manage inventory, ensure smooth material flow, and collaborate with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Achieving optimal inventory management
- Placing call-off orders in consultation with the responsible Buyer
- Proactively following up on orders (by phone and email)
- Ensuring that order confirmations, delivery dates, and other information are correctly entered into the SAP system
- Master data maintenance in SAP
- Ensuring a smooth material flow
- Managing inventory at external locations
- Operational relationship management with suppliers
- Resolving incorrect deliveries or rejections
- Monitoring deviations in purchasing agreements
- Actions following revision changes
- Contributing to the improvement of internal and external purchasing and Material Management processes
- Reporting on progress in material provisioning
Requirements
- HTS or HBO diploma, preferably in Technical Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in Material Management, Planning, or Purchasing, preferably in a technical production environment
- Proven experience with SAP (MM/PP) and knowledge of MS Office and LMS
- Strong command of English and German, both spoken and written, for conducting supplier discussions
- Knowledge of (inter)national quality systems such as ISO 9001
- Knowledge of company, safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality procedures and regulations (ISO)
- A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders and manage suppliers
