About the Position
We are seeking a Mechanical Design and Prototyping Specialist with expertise in jet engine module design, antenna, and radome mechanical design, and 3D printer assembly. Our ideal candidate is a versatile engineer who excels in various mechanical design and prototyping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop jet engine modules, focusing on oil jet design and sump region detailing for squeezed film damping.
- Modify entire engines for test instrumentation.
- Design antennas and radomes, demonstrating expertise in composite production methods, NX CAD tool, GD&T, material selection, and environmental testing.
- Assemble and maintain 3D printers.
- Prepare maintenance manuals using SolidWorks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in jet engine module design.
- Expertise in antenna and radome mechanical design.
- Proficiency in 3D printer assembly.
- Strong skills in SolidWorks and NX CAD tool.
- Knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and environmental testing.
