About the Position

Mechanical Design Engineer - Medizintechnik (all gender)

Join ALTEN as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Medizintechnik, developing innovative medical device concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts and designs for medical devices
• Create and evaluate various technical solutions
• Translate requirements and design specifications into feasible concepts
• Develop 3D-CAD models and constructions using PTC Creo
• Coordinate with industrial design and interdisciplinary teams
• Evaluate and further develop concepts until a constructive solution is achieved

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Product Development, or a similar field
• Experience in mechanical design, mechanical product development, and ideally in the medical technology sector
• Proficiency in PTC Creo
• Experience in concept development and technical design processes
• Good understanding of materials, manufacturing, and assembly-friendly design
• Structured, communicative, and solution-oriented approach
• Fluency in German and English
