Mechanical Designer - Shock Absorber

Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Designer - Shock Absorber, you will:
- Creation of modeling and drawings for global projects
- Concept preparation and selection based on the customer and cost requirements
- Track and execute technical work packages
- Achieve Product target cost and contribute to Design to Cost (DtC)
- Good knowledge in modelling and detailing of parts and assembly. Good knowledge on Modelling best practices
- Flexible to learn and execute new ideas for productivity. Leads all engineering activities within project team
- Managing all PE deliverables in the project in time/quality/cost
- Work with ZF engineering teams (Design Engineering, Application Engineering team) & departments within Central R&D globally and other departments like production, quality, purchasing etc.
Requirements
- Design experience in shock absorber domain is preferred and willing to work from Pune location
- 3 to 5 years of Experience in modelling and detailing in shock absorber domain
- Experience in CREO is must
- Experience in Product life cycle management tools and change management
- Very good documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of commercial vehicle suspension system
