Mechanical Engineer (Конструктор)

This position is in the R&D team, which develops and manufactures equipment and electronic solutions that work on the real battlefield, not in beautiful presentations for investors.

The company is rapidly scaling, establishing processes, and strengthening teams.

Due to the expansion of the R&D department, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Конструктор) whose solutions will be implemented in hundreds of thousands of products, change the course of history, and ensure Ukraine's technological advantage for decades to come.

Responsibilities

• Designing new constructions and improving existing solutions.
• Development in the direction of communication systems, housings, and antennas.
• Creating 3D models for prototyping.
• Conducting design calculations, selecting materials, components, and manufacturing technologies.
• Preparing design documentation.
• Technical support of production processes: transferring CD to contractors, controlling test samples, making changes based on test results.

Requirements

• Experience in developing mechanical devices for mass production (from 3 years).
• Understanding of design principles for production (DFM): milling, sheet bending, thermoforming, 3D printing, and more.
• Practical experience in preparing for mass production: making design changes for technological constraints, reducing costs, simplifying assembly.
• Experience with 3D printing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (experience with PDM systems is a plus).
• Experience working with contractors and prototype workshops in Ukraine.
• Ability to manually assemble, configure, and test created units.
• Higher technical education.

Nice to Have

• Experience in static load calculations and thermal analysis.
• Knowledge of plastic, rubber, and silicone molding technologies.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, experience in R&D projects in collaboration with designers and electronics.
• Basic skills in electro-mechanical integration (sensors, motors, cable management).
